French toast
Ingredients
1 loaf challah bread or brioche
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups cream or half and half
¹/₄ cup sugar
¹/₄ cup brandy
4 eggs
orange zest from 1 orange
1 pinch salt
Directions
Make sure the bread is dry. If fresh, place in the oven for 20 minutes at low heat.
Blend everything but the bread with an immersion blender.
Soak bread for 20 minutes, flipping halfway.
Grill at 350ºF
